No. ASG is supply only across the whole range. We build to your spec and deliver, but you arrange your own installer or tradesperson. We do not install, attend or assess sites, or manage council permits and engineering drawings for pergolas - those sit with you and your licensed builder.

Information for your installer

Retractable awnings start from $550 supplied, with free delivery to most of Melbourne. Pergolas are supply only and quoted to your exact dimensions and configuration. Price depends on model, size, fabric or finish, and extras such as motorisation or LED lighting. Enter your email and postcode on any product page for a written quote.

Charcoal grey awning fabric is held in stock and can often ship the next business day. Other colourways are made to order in 1 to 3 weeks. Non-standard sizes, sizes above 3 m, and non-standard fabrics or finishes take 4 to 6 weeks. Aluminium pergolas are 6 to 8 weeks. Your written quote confirms the timeframe.

Send photos and measurements and we advise remotely - no site visit, anywhere in Australia. Photograph the wall straight on and from both angles, plus anything in the way, and measure the available width at mounting height. We confirm the largest model that fits and send a written quote. How to measure for your awning

The AW01 is wind tested by Intertek to EN 13561 Class 3, equivalent to Beaufort force 6, roughly 39 to 49 km/h. That result applies to the tested sample at 3000mm x 1530mm and does not extend to larger sizes or other models. Retract the awning above that, and in hail or snow. Damage from leaving it out is not covered.

3 years structural, covering the frame and fixings, from the date of delivery. Spanish Sauleda fabric carries a 3-year fade warranty. The Dooya motor and electrical components including wind sensors and LED lighting are covered by their manufacturers, separately. Excluded: misuse, unauthorised modifications, and weather beyond design loads.

High-grade aluminium alloy with a multi-stage powder coat: UV stable, corrosion resistant, and it will not rust, warp or need repainting. Awning fabric is Spanish Sauleda acrylic in 37 colourways. Motors are Dooya. Frame, fabric and motor are assembled and bench-tested at our Hoppers Crossing warehouse. Installation must comply with the National Construction Code, which is your installer's responsibility.

Inspect the goods on delivery before signing, and check the packaging. Report any damage, shortage or wrong item in writing to [email protected] within 2 business days, with photographs of the damage and the packaging. Keep the packaging until it is resolved - carriers often need it to assess a claim.

We do not employ or endorse installers and we do not publish a list, but tell us your suburb and what you have ordered and we will point you in a sensible direction. Our installer page has the manual, the wind report, and everything a tradesperson needs to quote the job.

Information for your installer

Usually yes - most Melbourne councils require a building permit for a permanent pergola. Requirements depend on your council, the size, boundary setbacks, and whether it is attached to the house. Heritage overlays, bushfire and flood zones add conditions. ASG does not manage permits. Speak to your council or a building surveyor before ordering; we supply the specifications they need.

Standard orders are paid in full at checkout. Large or custom orders can be paid in full, or with a 50% deposit to confirm the order and lock in your specifications and the balance before dispatch. Your written quote sets out which applies. We do not offer financing or instalment plans.
